Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto has designed a structure entitled 'Inside/Outside Tree' for the V&A's '1:1 - Architects Build Small Spaces' exhibition. The structure consists of dozens of polygonal acrylic sheets bound together by cable ties to form an abstract hollow tree form.
Here we see two of the team from MDM Props (the contractors who are building the structure) carefully threading individual cable ties into the junctions between the acryclic sheets that make up one of the tree's branches.
