just hearing this band for the first time, second song ever. wow. I've been into ethereal music and shoagaze and darker new wave for a while, and yet I somehow totally missed them.

and drugs to make it painless, always rare to keep her thirsty?

and drugs to make it painless, bo one could keep her thirsty!

A criminally overlooked and under appreciated band.

@darthsketch And there's hope that I've taken
And these dreams, to make it painful
And men, we're quick as rainbows
Always rare, to keep her thirsty
And I've gone, like she'd always known

@trevizons the "best of " comp is worth the investment. remixes included.

@luxmariner1 love the sound too. you did a great job!
-
Probably the most important band actually with Editors.

this guy looks like robert fripp

Love this track. I was working at a post production company called Spitfire Television at the time and I did the offline editing for this video, must have been 1989-90. We had to "sit" the gain for the video - the recording had such a big sound. Great guys. Thanks for posting.

Another underestimated band. But I believe that it is better. I love this band, of special form their first album "love is Hell" (1987), which sounds between a fine post punk and a beautiful and atmospheric shoegaze. They have influenced to as present bands as Editors and Interpol.
This song is from the georgeos album "starnge free world"........................please Listen to them!!!!
A little of JOY DIVISION + COCTEAU TWINS + THE CHAMELEONS U.K + THE SMITHS = KOD.
