Filmed on our first day of the trip, Wed Feb17th 2010. It cost $20 to go to the 86th floor to view the city. This was a must-see on our list of things to do in New York. I filmed multiple view perspectives from the 86th floor. Very very windy and cold at the top!!!

North View... Here you can see Central Park, Chrysler Building, MetLife Building, and many more tall buildings.

East View...Here you can see the East River, the Borough of Queens across the river, and parts of the lower east-side.

South View...Here you can see the skyscrapers of lower Manhattan, the statue of liberty to the upper right, Brooklyn to the upper left, and where the Hudson & East Rivers meet. When the World Trade Center was standing, it would be visible in this skyline.

West View...Here you can see the Hudson River, New Jersey across the river, One Penn Plaza, and Madison Square Garden

  • Wow! What an awesome view! You can see everything from way up there. I liked the way you filmed the four different views so you could see the entire city. I recognized the Brooklyn Bridge and Statue of Liberty. You don't realize how extremely high you are until you see the streets below and the tiny dots which are cars! Made me a little dizzy! :) Love this video...great film making!

  • Thanks!! Ya it was very high up!!
