Really? It got a loud applause at the theatre I was at. And there were a lot of middle-aged men in the room.

If you are a Star Trek fan, or have an education you will hate this movie. It got booed at the end in the theatre I saw it at last night.

The movie was enough good. Not excellent, but good. I agree that this will be a starter point to go with other greater Star Trek movies more dramatic, epic, mythic, and with greater effects. Spok was very good on the role.

the movie sucked

horrible character development...relied too much on special effects

cheap humor...bad casting (for the most part) especially KIRK

the lens flare was ANNOYING

The beginning went by SO FAST i wasn't able to get into the characters or even like them...and WHAT WAS THE POINT OF KIRK BEING A KID STEALING A CAR...that scene was soooo unceccessary

Heres my idea. One, they should NEVER start another TV Show. Because of so many of them people got tired of seeing it on TV and so when Nemesis came out, people went "Ughh another Trek movie..DORK ALERT" Now, I love Trek but it began with Kirk and ended with TNG. To me. This may spark an interest to make another and better outing for The Next Generation, but I doubt it but hey, you never know. The movie was fantastic and I can take the changed because it was explained. Alter history. Simple.
