@Ezdduf4kuZ I've seen Rebel Without a cause a lot its one of my favorites, besides the Wild One. I've seen a bit of blackboard jungle on tv I remember Bill Haleys music in it. I have seen Rebel without a cause, The Wild One, Hot Rod Girl, Teenage Thunder, Hot Rod(1950), Dragstrip Riot(this one wasn't as good), high school confidential, and a few others. i could never find this one though.

@skatepunkzero I can't believe you can't find Hot Rod Gang along with the Blackboard Jungle? & Rebel Without a Cause(the most popular of 'em all). I myself haven't checked it out but I certainly am finding all kinds of R&R, & that includes Rockabilly such as David Orrell & Be My Baby. Rockabilly wasn't played here in Vancouver Cda & why I don't know, it was all mainstream. I was too young to listen to Gene but the dj did play Be Bop-a-Lulu (not a fav. of mine. The internet is amazing!THX

Those tight black pants & white socks, the waterfalls, grease & those collars turned up, these were the makings of a real punk. They'd act cool, friendly & had every other girl drooling over their good looks and charm. We had a few in our highschool, but 1,200 of us didn't fit that description. Gene was underrated here in Vancouver Canada, honestly. Tis guy should of been as popular as Buddy Holly but was almost unheard of. Thx4 postin'

I Played bass on several ocassions back in the early 70's with Paul Peek and his band the peekaboos. Paul was the singer to the left of Gene Vincent. The one chewing gum. Paul was an extremely talented entertainer in his own right. He cut several records, but could never get a record distribution.
