  • @alfredo94806 Isn't it the same thing for Black and White? They are not referring to colors, but to racial identities. I am Latina, I consider myself white. It wont' be the case with others.

I did think the study was quite limited though... But better studies have shown the same thing anyway.

  • i see there' two girl choosed black barbie as a prettiest

  • thats a shame smh..............

  • awww the kid with curls is soo cute!! i think it's a boy right? 2:10 heheeh how about this one? :) heheeh

  • @DiegoVox No, ''MESTIZA'' o ''MORENA''

  • Ok is it just me that counted 3 kids who thought that black barbie was prettiest? Also, this study is very biased. It leads the children into answering one thing or another, when it should have left the question as an open answer, such as "what do you think of these barbies?". Also, to have an accurate result showing racism among children, there should have only been one variable, the color of skin. Kids could have judged the attractiveness of the barbies by the hair or eye color.

  • Maybe i heard and saw wrong, but more than 1 child said the black one was pretty

  • @chloe13413 I know. I actually though 3 kids thought the black barbie was pretty. But at the end it said 1 and I was like, "WTF!?"

  • two points: in a child's mind the word bad is bevy vague. maybe it should have been specified. is bad like naughty, is bad like undesirable, the question before was related to beauty so is bad like ugly? a bit confusin. on the question of choosing the white doll as prettiest, this can and is very likely down to conditioning. the number of role models for standard beauty to the general public there is today is far more white women than black, so prob not actually an indication of racist behaviour

  • what about the Latina barbie??
