  • Very Good War Movie!!I Have It In My collection!!!

    Great Theme Song!!!

  • @ArminiusvanLand

Both of them "fought each other" later in "the Longest Day" again on each side of the war.

  • One of the best scenes ever in any movie is the last 5 minutes of this film. Th last verbal exchange between Curt and Robert is priceless. More specifically Curt's last line in the movie..

  • Hey Supervcr, how about you upload the movie, and keep the dumb trailers for yerself. 10 minute movie tease sucks !!!!!!!!

  • Blast, why has no one uploaded the theme song of this movie? One of my favorite sub films.

  • I don't know, it's hard to differentiate 2 nations if both crews speak the same language. Was really a great mistake not to cast germans as nazi's crew - it would make a much bigger effect...

  • @Daniel4646 Not only Robert Mitchum. Curt Jürgens either was one of the greatest actors ever. And this roll was one of his masterpieces.

  • knight spirit

  • This is one of the best WWII movies I've ever seen. It humanizes both of the adversaries in the battle, and shows how even enemies can develop a grudging respect for one another. The destroyer's doctor does a great job of representing all of the men who wished to retain their humanity, and hope for the humanity of the world, even in the midst of this terrible conflict.

  • @SuperAncientmariner Its an AMERICAN film! lol
