I think people miss the point, most guys that take their kids fishing know that kids lose interest fast and the dad doesn't get a lot of fishing done. Yes the rocket rod is pretty terrible for fishing but I bet the kids don't realize that because they get to shoot it and watch how far it goes. It's basically for entertainment value and to let Dad do some fishin!

Lazyness beyond explanation. What is our nation coming to? Kids can't even cast a real rod and reel... A small 6' spincast outfit would be better, cheaper, and easier to store.

I wish I could get a real pole but I was downsized. At least he caught us a squaw fish for dinner that night.
