Skau says Reno council members asked for the ordinance following
complaints from residents.

RENO, Nev. (AP) - The Reno City Council has initially approved
an ordinance to try to keep music blasted from car stereos under
control.
The ordinance approved Wednesday would ban amplified sound from
vehicles that can be heard from 25 feet away.
