  • A brilliant T.V. series and really quite provactive truely it is a beautiful book and piece of film.

  • Phoebe Nichols is the most under rated actor of the series. The gradual growth of her character is a beautiful breathtaking study of coming to age.

  • @asar61 you are right on. her portrayal is so honest and unaffected and exhibits an intelligence and awareness that deepens as the character maturess

  • love the scene later when Charles proudly tells Sebastian Cordelia's going to pray for him.

"She wrote a novena for her pig"

  • "Isn't that lovely?" My gosh sweetheart, everything that comes out of your mouth is lovely!

  • @bozo828 I really don't think you'll find people rallying around child porno at ANY time in the future - maybe you should look for another career.

  • I love Cordelia--she's so sweet and honest and innocent in this scene, without it being cloying or obnoxious.

  • now i watch brideshead revisited i m struck first of all by the normality, the honesty that each character portrays,it's very enriching and wholesome, and it goes at a sedate pace,i feel that it draws me in2 a by gone age,and i wish i was there, but would it be like this i wonder, now we that r in the 21st century.

  • when i first saw brideshead revisited on tv in 1981 i was 18,did not understand what i was viewing, now i got the dvd,i c it is about roman catholic religion, class, homosexuality, forbidden love, issues that nowadays r a formality but back in the 30's these kind of things could ruin a person of standing and bring great disgrace on the family it is comperable to nowadays to child porongraphy, what we look nowadays as embarrasing in the future will just b a formality

  • Ah, Phoebe Nicholls was just too adorable in this scene! :D

  • Is that Jeremy Irons? :D I've never seen him so young!
