I could have done without the "Inside of me" techno track playing but that's just me....I would have rather heard the motor myself. I read other posters comments about the vtec not kicking in until a certain temp. Is this true for all honda motors with vtec? Does the vtec not activate on them until the engine reaches a certain temp as well? I owned a 95 civic that had the sohc vtec motor so I'm just kinda wondering

Unless your temp gauge is broken Vtec...... Oh no...... Vtec doesn't work when your car is below operating temp, so bad example of accelerating in an ls Vtec. Overall nice car though.

whats so great about vtec i dont have it in my ls but i beat a honda vtec i hear vtech is just extra oil and i hear it just opens the valvs more and longer

@blacky448 no offense man, but you have no idea what vtec actually does. And there's single over head cam motors that have vtec and a moped can beat them. so in short vtec is good because it allows high end performance while still maintaining everyday driving characteristics.

@asianguy207 haha yea man my thermostat was old and i replaced it after the vid. hahaha nice catch though, and anyway my vtec doesn't kick in until the car reaches a certain temp as a safe guard. so no worries man.
