You must either be 1) a jealous westerner who is jealous Bahrain has better construction infrastructure than most western countries (OR) 2) a fundamentalist muslim fanatic.

on the other hand, if you are a liberal muslim, you will be proud of bahrain! i live in USA and i think the street signs, over head cables and street lamps and bad roads are sub-par compared to bahrain's under ground cables, awesome pavement/asphalt, street lamps, lights, signs. buildings...

@yes1256r haha it's funny how you say that while Bahrain is still the Banking centre of the Middle-East , Dubai is just plastic , 90% of those buildings you see are empty , and to put innovation into the prospective Bahrain Built the first ever Wind-powered Commercial Building ( Bahrain World Trade Centre ) Dubai tries to beat Bahrain but Bahrain has more Foreign Banks than any other Middle-Eastern country.Not to mention the freedom of press , Dubai is very conservative when compared to Bahrain

@roggggger That's only Manama, go around Muharraq, and most of all, the villages, and you'll see something completely different - you'll see the more traditional face of Bahrain
