Lol, took me forever to use items and equips skills and stuff. Just click around until you recognize which characters do what

You get more moves as you level. Go to the menu and there is one that have a list of moves and each has a percentage of com that they use. You can switch them out for other moves. It has to equal up to 100% or less.
