  • Would be cheaper with linux :)

  • @TheFreak1ger yes it would but im not a huge fan of linux, WHS is insanely easy

  • Personally i wouldn't use AMD for a home server Just because of there small cache in comparison to an Intel CPU cache but if you've got a budget go AMD.

  • @Darcin8or im just a big AMD fan, i use it on all my systems

  • you say it's anti-static from the inside but not from the outside. So if there was an static region the bag picked it up, now the electricity it's around the bag. And you place the board on the bag?? hmm...

  • You are my hero. I've been wanting to build my own server if possible and I absolutely want to do this. I have 2 old towers that do run, but aren't being used. Going for it.

  • AMD use to much energy for a 24/7 server

  • @1domeso WHS is free on internet :)

seriously who pays for windows. If you don't dumb up!!

  • @1domeso but costly

  • i will put an opteron 16-core processor in my new server

  • I think it would look better with linux.

  • @toapecur no you wont need a gpu to run a minecraft server its all cpu based since its cpu heavy
