I created this video to show an example of how you can use the application called GoodReader on the iPad to view PDF files, Microsoft Office documents and Quicktime movie files as a marching tech or director when teaching or reviewing drill.

  • Hi George. I noticed in this video that you have a quicktime video of your drill. How did you do that? Thanks!

  • @jrverbeke hey. sorry for the delay. The app I use to capture and export videos of drill is called ScreenFlow (Mac). I really like it for its simplicity in the recording & exporting process. it's a very hassle-free app. You can export the video in various other formats as well, but a quicktime .mov file usually comes out the best. If you are on a Mac with Snow Leopard or Lion, you can capture to a .mov with Quicktime X. A lot of people don't realize it can do that.

    Good luck!
