This is the Disgaea 3 trailer, taken from the Japanese PSN.
This game is coming out for the PS3 in early 2008 in Japan.
And yes, I know, it looks terrible for a PS3 game. But it's a definite must buy if you like SRPGs at all. Best series in the genre.

@ex0du5 I know this comment is two years old...and you probably already heard but....they realized their mistake with the sprites and Disgaea 4 is looking PRETTY FABULOUS. :D

geez! I was so happy when I bought disgaea 2. And then I heard there was even disgaea 3 and I was like OMG! WTF!?

It's a shame they didn't use some high-resolution art for the sprites...they're pretty washed out on the high-def backgrounds.
Still, Disgaea is about the gameplay. Along with LittleBigPlanet (and MGS4 which has passed), this is my most anticipated game of the year.
I hope DoubleJump makes another guide.
