Dyanne began treatment some 14 years ago for diagnoses of bipolar and borderline personality disorder. Then, one morning—facing her daily regimen of five psychotropic drugs—she wondered if she is over-medicated and experiencing the side effects of polypharmacy. This is a video journal of Dyanne's exploration into the issue of polypharmacy and how it was affecting her life. It is an intimate portrayal of 4 months that became pivotal to Dyanne's revised understanding of her mental illness and responsibility to herself in regards to treatment.
someone was really piling on the meds...to paraphrase nietzsch, be carful in purging your demons that you don't get rid of the best part...

Ok so you have BPD as do I, and so it seems in our tendency to think rigidly we swing the pendulum back and forth from one extreme to the other, has it occurred to you that maybe you were taking TOO MUCH drugs and therefore you should limit your medication intake to the bare essentials after having done research on the drugs you were taking? It just seems to me that you went from one extreme in taking too many drugs to the other in taking no drugs. Both seem very unhealthy.
