I love this dabke song :) just wondering do you know a song that goes like this "kinnik min falasteen, kinnik nabulsiyeh" something like that. If you do know can you PLEASE tell me the name of the name of the song!!! I've been trying to find it everywhere!
It was actually started in the Levant area which is Lebanon, Palestine, Syria and Jordan. The Palestinians and Lebanese are believed to start it but in the early to mid 1900's the Lebanese made it popular. Btw who cares, we're all arabs no matter country or religion. I'm half Palestinian and Half American and have aunts and uncles in Amman. I'm a proud Arab and a patriotic American.
@SuperSaad64 no darling it's lebanese, dabke is originally lebanese. and te guy that sings it is from the menya in lebanon he's quite famouse there too.
Listen to the above song from 0:11 and listen to this song from 1:37 v=dFmw37eZV5E. It is the same song. The same melody but different lyrics. The original song is quite old (at least the sixties) and is called Al ayn mulayeteen. If you are going to look for it search it with the arabic script. على العين موليتين In western script there are many different ways to write it so it is difficult to find.
