@SavageArms357 I just started watching it recently, really sad to see that it got canceled so quickly... It had a shitload of potential. I still got to watch Serenity but I hope the series comes back one day.

@Metzgermeist I only watched it a few months back myself. I saw the movie first unfortunately, but after about the third episode, me and my family agreed this was the best show ever to grace television.

After you finish Serenity, you'll soon find you have a void in your soul. One that can never be filled (Farscape be damned!).

There is one other show though, that's kind of like Firefly. It's an anime called Cowboy Bebop. Which you can watch for free on watchcartoononline...

I think it might come back one day. There's tons of references to it in games and other shows, still has a huge fanbase, the cast have all said they would love to go back...If only Fox would sell the rights! =\

@Ralx13 Yeah, he said in an interview that if he won the lottery he'd buy the rights, which started a fan donation site that got to like, 90 grand before Nathan told them to stop.

We can always dream though, they can't take the sky from me! :P

And as long as that ripoff has exactly the same actors, follows the same story line (after season one of course) and Joss Whedon directs it. And it never ends. :)

@SavageArms357 Yea, especially since after Mal released the information about ____ and how Reavers came into being.  Because after that, the Verse would be pretty messed up. It'd make a good second season though - showing how the crew of Serenity deals with "that" and the release of the information.

@Ralx13 True, but at least there would be 1 other good show on television besides Sherlock from the BBC (I literally don't like anything else).

And I suppose they could just ignore the movie as canon, but I still think it'd be pretty good even with it as canon. Though it would be different =\

@SavageArms357 I mean, of course they could continue the series, but it wouldn't be the same. For one, both "thats" were pretty important. And the effects of their absence on the crew would HAVE to be shown, and that would twist the characters to something we don't know and are unfamiliar with, defeating the purpose of the show. Believe me, I want more seasons of this show as much as anyone, but it just doesn't seem plausible. :(

@Ralx13 Just because 'that' isn't there doesn't mean it can't continue, and it's left very open ended. so besides not having 'that' and also the other 'that' (ha xD), it's still ripe for more stories.
