@2wheels88 Every time I see a demonstration get broken up, it is for the same reason. No permit. Is there a reason(s) why no one gets a permit ahead of the demonstration?? Just once I would like to see someone produce the permit and see what the next "law" being broken is. Someone is afraid of your message!! Not of you as a group; but definitely your message. Get the permit! Play their stupid game and beat them at it. Shake a permit in the face of that little bald swat doughboy. Peace!!

America is dead.

@TheEmpowered787 So if we pay for a permit then it's ok to draw a crowd and it poses no more danger to anyone, that's crazy, it's the same except we have more money in our pockets rather than the governments.Bad laws are meant to be challenged by the public otherwise they'll write so many codes and statutes you won't be able to scratch yourself without being fined.Oh and stop watching Lamestream media, there are no terrorist's hiding around every corner trying to destroy monuments.Get real!!!!
-
@TheEmpowered787 no there are not. those are abridgments. requiring a permit is unconstitutional, plain and simple.
-
@TheEmpowered787 No actually the law is wrong a you should'nt put up with it unless you're a fascist and love being stepped on,you can site your codes all day but the constitution crushes your stupid code.Go back to your black opps games and Harry potter books and let the adults take of the real shit you moron.

Actually, you're wrong. The National Park Service has special privileges in the District and neighboring Maryland and Virginia. If you live in DC (like I do), you know that you don't mess with the Park Service. They are constantly on the lookout for terrorists to strike the capital's monuments. Thus, under the 36 CFR 7.96 you cannot assemble and draw a crowd without a permit. It's for everyone's safety and allows the police to do their job. You guys don't even know what Socialism is

Read the Law that the officer is talking about 36 CFR 7.96. You are on National Park Service grounds and there are exceptions to your right to assemble. You need a permit if you intend on drawing a crowd (which you are if you are shouting). It's for your own safety and the safety of the visitors. There are streets where you are allowed to protest listed on the website, fascist nut jobs.

@37butterflyprincess Yes, but there are restrictions when it comes to public and national security.

@TheEmpowered787 CONGRESS SHALL MAKE NO LAW respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise therof; OR ABRIDGING THE FREEDOM OF SPEECH, or of the press; OR THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO PEACEABLY (note that word and their actions) ASSEMBLE, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances
any law requiring permits to peaceably assemble as these people have is unconstitutional. btw, I don;t neccesarily agree w/ their message against universal healthcare

swat at 1:40: "I'm not ... you don;t have free speech"
wow, one of them actually came out with the truth!
Why should it be in iraq? What did they do to deserve the American occupation.

If you stay on the sidewalk around the Mall, how can they say you are on National Park property? Another thing, seems to me they made this national park land precisely so they could limit access to it. It's a vague memory, I could be wrong, but try to look it up. They are way out of line, but this is par for the course isn't it?
