  • Thanks for video!

That bar on the left side, is it for side of the boat? Can you remove it?

  • @Denzar The bar on the side is the side scan. It is suppose to track fish that are off to the side of the sensor. I use this unit on my float tube and I feel like the side scan favors what ever side I have it on my tube. To answer your other question, yes it is removable!

  • what kind of battery does it take because i know you dont put that gigantic boat battery on your tube

  • @CBbassin It takes 6 AA batteries which is kind of nice. You can always carry an extra set when your out on the water. The battery life has bee excellent, I've been out twice with the same set of batteries fishing about 6-8 hours each trip. I will hopefully get some more video on this unit, it's just that every time I have been out it has been so sunny that I can't get a good video without all the glare and reflection.

  • Glad someone finally made a video,

  • is there a repair place for these machines, mine, dont show graph no more and it hummmms all the time while batterys are in it

  • How deep can it find fish at?

  • I love mine but i have the old kind ( Bottomline fishing buddy ) it's about around 15 years old or so and it's been 5 or more years since i have used it. I'm going to get it out this year i now have a one man pontoon boat i just hope it still works and it's not corroded. Mine came in one piece except for the mounting clamp and that's the second piece it take's 3 D cells and it has the side finder as well
