Different motors with different redlines and vastly different power and torque curves. They are bound to sound different. The Kawasaki revs to about 11,000 rpm and the Suzuki, 13,000. The Suzuki will have a higher engine note and the Kawasaki lower. The bikes have different gearing so at any one speed the Kawasaki will be revving lower.
