I really think that maybe some of these women could've known they were pregnant by relying less on a modern technology (pregnancy tests) and relying more on their intuition by getting an ultrasound or even going to a doc for a thorough check-up. If someone is on birth control, couldn't those artificial hormones throw off a pregnancy test? I think it's a possibility.

@superpinky1234566 i am sure what you are saying is right,,,,but how can you not have felt a whole alive baby kickin inside you???mothers can just feel the baby thriving inside ,,they can feel the heartbeat or atleast the presence of the baby by merely touching the tummy...

i guess that's true to a point. I know a girl that has an inverted uterus.
My aunt was one of them. She and her husband had been married for six years without children. When she went to the doctor about stomach pains she had been having she was told that she was in the low stages of labor. She was freaking shocked and Uncle nearly had a heart attack lol...it was a nice surprise for them because they had given up having kids because six years of trying with no result? Well now they can't stop having kids because they have 8 now, the last pregnancy was a set of twins

Pregnancy tests are not always accurate. If you menstruate irregularly and you're trying to get pregnant and the test comes back negative, then someone probably won't jump to the conclusion of "I'm pregnant." And even if you didn't get your period for 8 months after that, if you have PCOS or something like that, your periods generally aren't regular enough to chart/rely upon for an indicator of pregnancy, so it wouldn't be an anomaly.
