The Fantasy Reference is beyond good for writers. I own a copy, and I can honestly say that it's good with nearly every aspect of medieval culture, even down to the architecture of a church and pagan religions. When I'm writing a book, it's always the closest book I grab for a reference.

Helpful video, thanks! Gonna look into those books also. I too am an IT geek by day and aspiring writer by night; sounds like we have alot in common sir. I even got your base zero joke before you explained it hehe. My fledgling books are only a year old in the writing so far, still along way to go tho, but thank ye for the tips.

Thank you, very useful information. I've written novels, but haven't published any of them. I'm publishing my first novel soon.
I just realized that I messed up the math on the comparison of a 64GB thumb drive to a 4GB one. LOL It's 16 times larger, not 14 or 14.5, like I'd said in the video. Duh! :) My math sucks when I'm in front of the camera!
