  • if you dont have the level and are using the one inch of water method u can measure it in the corners and center with a measuring tape to see how far off you are

  • @smegzilla69 Thanks for sharing that.

  • i leveled my tank and it still has alittle leak in the corner. i think that i just need to buy some aquarium safe sealant. if you or anyone have any ideas why this is happening, please comment back....

  • @MrIAN1077 The sealant will only patch the problem, and it may leak again. The best way to achieve a good seal is if the tank is empty and silicone sealant is placed on both the inside and outside of the tank, and then allowed to dry for a minimum of 24 hours before you use the tank again. Good luck.

  • where is day 4 from 90g rebuild?

    thanks

    Aaron

  • @aharon115 There is no day 4 buddy. i have been taking the videos as the system gets set up and there are changes so on some days, there are no changes. I want to show how long it takes to set up a 90g system and also want to get across that patience is key to being successful in this hobby. Next update will be day 10 so it will skip 5 days pr so. Thanks for watching :)

  • @blackreef13 i have the same problem on my 125 gallon tank, if your stand is level but the surface is slightly out you can use a sheet of 1/4 or 1/2" styrofoam between the tank and the surface of your stand. This should account for any variance up to about 1/8 of an inch.

  • Hey steelo, i have my stand and it is a bit unleveled so i leveled it and i looked at the bottom frame and noticed that my tank was touching the stand in the middle but on the sides their is a slight gap in between could it be possible that the surface is uneven? Then i was thinking of also shimming the tank but i might buy a think piece of plywood waht do u think

  • @ballerbrian4u It's coming lol. I am actually returning to NY in this week and once I get home I have 100s of videos to make so bear with me :)

  • What happend to the updates?
