  • what is the language at 3.09 and, what does "teo torriatte" means? (woh, brian must knew a lot of foreign languages huh?)

  • @GreatQueenFan, it´s japan, and I have no idea what teo torriatte means... "let us cling together" perhaps..? :D

  • @wateralchemist94 Off the top of my head, I'm pretty sure it's "te (w)o toriatte", which would most directly translate to holding hands. With the connotations, it's the same thing, though. And I could be wrong.

  • @redblue200, yeah, it's pretty hard to know exactly since they don't have the alphabet as we do, so it's not that clear how to translate it =)

  • "Let us cling together as the years go by"....not too tightly though, we all need some breathing space from time-to-time....lol <3 <3 <3

  • @GreatQueenFan It is Japanese, and I have translated it literally. Teo toriatte konomama iko Let us take our hands in hands, and keep going just like this Aisuruhito yo My beloved one Shizukana yoi ni In the quiet night Hikario tomoshi let us turn a light on Itoshiki oshieo idaki embracing precious lessons "itoshiki" is classical form of "itoshii" which usually used for beloved people such as "itoshii musuko (dear son)", "itoshii hito (dear heart/sweet)", or cherished memories.

  • @GreatQueenFan Googled "teo torriatte lyrics translation" and this was the link at the top of the page (I think) Teo Torriatte konomama iko Let us cling together as the years go by Aisuruhito yo Oh my love, my love Shizukana yoi ni In the quiet of the night Hikario tomoshi Let our candle always burn Itoshiki oshieo idaki Let us never lose the lessons we have learned so its just the chorus in japanese
  • This is the music that made me the biggest Queen freak alive. Something happened though. I don’t know if it was the 80’s, old age, or AIDS, but their music began to suck donkey dicks. I have to erase all that shit in my mind they did after the 70’s or I forget they were once the best. I can’t listen to that worthless shit they did in the 80’s but I can listen to this forever. I wonder what makes such a good band turn to shit?
