  • @ZeDBeE85 Is the same principle. Look for "2.35:1 mask premier" in google.

  • The look you are going for is nice, but the blacks are WAY crushed here.

  • how come its not 1080p? Not that it matters, its just the 550 can shoot full 1080.

  • @ZeDBeE85 There are a few ways. 1st is to use the crop effect and trim the top and bottom. Second is to go into the title maker in premiere and make a graphic overlay of black boxes on the top and bottom then overlay that title on the upmost layer.

  • Great work, shows what you can do with these great cameras. Thanks.

  • The color grading in these clips are some of the best I have seen on youtube. As it has been pointed out before the blacks are crushed a bit too much. If you shoot with ciniestyle you should be able to correct this.

  • If I can make a suggestion, I recommend using the Cinestyle preset. You can download it from Technicolor's website, and it'll lower the contrast in your image, so when you color grade your footage your darks won't get so crushed.

  • @rorrt in 720p you can shoot 60fps...giving the video a smoother look

  • @rorrt For slow motion, they shot in 720P, 60P

  • @rorrt i would guess to shoot more fps

  • @rorrt they might not have edited in 1080p

  • New York?

  • @rorrt the 550d shoots 1080p but at 30 fps i think. if not 30, then its 20 fps.
