I'm only a gal who is 44 yrs. old but have always found Glenn Miller to be my all-time favorite music!!! Definitely not like the awful boom boom noise you hear rumbling out of automobiles these days. If there were such a thing as a time machine I would travel back to this era and remain there.

Thank you very much for putting this on YT. I have searched for years for this version. I'm 46 and the last time I heard this was in the late seventies. What I liked most about it was the slower tempo and especially,the brilliant cornet solo. I am a happy bunny tonight :)

Fair enough, but, I think it has little to do with that as much as it has to do with isolationism. I mean, I've traveled in most places within Europe, such as Germany, France, Austria, Scotland, etc. I tend to explore things, and so I came across this music. It's simply a matter of self-indulged socialism, or "trends" as some would call them. Either way, a lot of people probably likes this music, they're just afraid of treading outside of their little cultural cul-de-sac.

@TheFacelessActivist The reason that so many people make a big deal about young ppl that like this, is b/c SO MANY young people these days listen to "music" is nothing more than LOUD NOISE that most musicians can't find or follow any sort of melodic line!! But I really am glad to see a whole new generation learning to love this truly exceptional music!!

@ShamBamWaffle813 - AMEN TO THAT ONE!! I can't stand the BOOM BOOM noises that kids play on their radios these days!! It is horrible when you are at a red light and one of them pulls up beside you and their radio is SO LOUD that you can feel your BONES VIBRATE!!

I swear... no body teaches them ANYTHING about DECENCY & MANNERS!! Most people (if they had ANY MANNERS WHATSOEVER) would consider that maybe not everybody likes to feel their BONES VIBRATE b/c you are playing your radio SO LOUD!!

I am 14 and listen to all kinds of music including metal and punk but I still love jazz. It is that awesome.
