m2: combofiend. I usually beat phatso with top tier online. our connection is laggy and he's solid, so he beat my low tier a couple times. there were actually a couple places where lag fucked up the win I coulda got

m3: storm/IM/sent here's a match I won against phatso with my low tier

m4: storm/cable/sent

m5: mag/sent/cyc. this guy is extremely laggy and purposely chooses high ping. I beat him with anak/sonson/tron before. he then barely beat me several times after (it was very close, but the LAG plus high tier teams fucked me up). this is another one I won with low tier. he ragequits on my top tier teams in a later video

is there any particular reason why you use sonson's staff launch instead of the kick launch? or is it just a habit?

@pointblizzy I generally do d.HK launcher if poking with lights first. since that's the only one launcher that can be used anyway after that. her oc.hp launch is quicker startup and, if I'm correct, quicker recovery too. better positioning for air combo also iirc.

though doing cr.lk, cr.mk, cr.hk helps with the positioning for the cr.hk launcher.

launch, lp, lk, mp, mk (there's just a bit of delay between each hit), wait a sec, super.

go to training and figure out the timing

I always play underdogs in every game, personally, it makes me feel more accomplished when I win with supposedly bad characters, Anakaris/BBH/Servot is the team I enjoy the most winning with and its nice watching videos like this.
