    this tower is taller than either one, although I do agree that it wouldn't have been bad to rebuild them. I think it would have been too big of a challenge for most architects since they'd have a lot of expectations to fill. Or they could have built the exact same towers and modernized them but that would have had its own challenges and criticisms as well. I understand why they would have wanted to start fresh. I think the overall WTC complex design looks good but I can't say until it's finished
