About Zooroona
The Mandwee family traces their roots to the Middle East, where food and family are vital components of life. They immigrated to Michigan in the early 1980s and founded Tiffany's Wine Shoppe, which grew into one of Kalamazoo's favorite places for fine wine and international specialties. As customers grew to love these international selections, the brothers wanted to bring an authentic Middle Eastern restaurant to West Michigan and Zooroona was born.

Zooroona in Arabic means "come visit us" - which is the vision of the Mandwee brothers. It is our longstanding presence and relationships in this community that inpsired us to share our unique acuisine and cluture. We want our community to feel welcome at Zooroona - sipping a cardamom tea, enjoying a fresh Arabic Desert salad, or tasting some of the most vibrant dishes of Iraq, Syria, Turkey, and Lebanon.
