Empire Total War: Battle Of Camden

The Battle Of Camden took place on August 16, 1780. The American forces were lead by General Horatio Gates, and the British were lead by General Charles Cornwallis. This victory was important for the British who were defeated at Saratoga 3 years earlier and were now focusing on the South. After Gates was defeated Nathaniel Greene took command of the American Army and led it to victory in the South.

great video, perhaps a bit studgy on the camera, but I like it! If it might interest you, there are some mods available like the militia mod which makes your militia look more like line infantry instead of scots.

The British were outnumbered (as they were in most of the battles during this war) by a fair margin given the overall size of the armies. However, the Americans failed to retract their line and thus faced British bayonets and hand to hand fighting, for which they were no match.
