  • if i have my opponent like that i'd go for a choke... (i'm a beginner on bjj)

  • Chokes are usually the first attacks from the back, this armbar is good as a combo move if the chokes aren't working.

  • very nice. i also thought a choke would be your best bet from the back. thanks for the instruction

  • correct a great way to get a armbar from the back is to go for the choke and if it doesnt work grab their wrist and use your choking arm to push their head away as you throw the leg over and pivot
