@minotar85 you did it wrong...your supposed to use physical attacks on the flames..and guess which one is the right one. all the others are wrong and will attack you if you hit them...

@kkman22able Hardest if you don't have the right equipment, if you do have, then it's pretty easy. In my opinion, the hardest one is probably the queen(optional boss too) in Black Omen, or whatever that airship was...

Just played against him and did my usual strategy (Magus=ice 2, Crono= light 2). Needless to say, I went thund in 20 seconds. I know about ruby vest but I sold them earlier and haven't replaced them cause I didn't see the need till now lol.

@ErsemMario you cant take out the flames dumbass! they all counter except one and they constantly get mixed up again so you have to guess randomly until you find the right one again.

thats not how you get rainbow. You get that from Melchior when he refines the rainbow shell you get from the tyrano lair in 600ad.

You do know that 4/5 of the flames all counterattack you and the only way of avoiding that is to attack the one flame that doesn't fire jets of flame at you.

It Would Help If You Put On That Ruby Vest Half Fire Damage

no good using magic against this boss absorbs all magic and since it uses only fire attacks ruby armor is the best way to go whether its armor that reduces damage by % or absorb both are good

@DarkDragonXXD man, Son of Sun is not so hard. If you equipped with Red Armors / Mails (if i still remember), all SOS's attacks are drained

this boss is actually pretty simple if you know the pattern.on the 1st shuffle it's the top flame, 2nd shuffle it's the top left flame, 3rd shuffle it's the top right flame, 4th shuffle it's the bottom right flame and by this point if you've just been on offensive the son of sun should be dead.

For this fight, I had Marle in my party and made her cast haste on everyone so that I had a better chance to find the right target before it switched them.
