old gliders+ bad kiting/ feel control/ preflight lacking = bad launches, all the pilots in this need to kite there gliders more and need to do a preflight before every flight
from a person who hasnt blown a launch in a year, and hasnt crashed for over 2

Interresting how most of them forget what the brakes are fore... Someone should tell them that you can't launch a glider with your arms straight in front of you :D
PS. what happend to the tird? did he got stuck into something or what?

Seems to me like many of the pilots were not ready to leave the training hill yet. At least someone should have told them not to fly in those conditions.

agree wit you PFF... too bad example to show off...! dont they consider the wind terbulance , rotor or site condition..etc that not suitable to fly...!!!?

IMHO these aren't bloopers, they are crashes/accidents and I hope all involved see it as such and the serious nature of it.
I don't know about you, but this level of performance would be unacceptable to me as a pilot. I would train to correct my poor launches before I got myself or someone else killed. It seems to be fairly common to blow launches.Its not really fun to see someone fly so poorly and crash, but it sure provides good gouge!

Wow that's quite a collection. Hope nobody got hurt. Lots of good examples of what you should NOT do when launching. Similar things have happened to me, though I mostly find a way to "cheat" myself into the air...
Just wondering, were these all licensed pilots or mostly students?
Educational stuff (and yeah, funny too :-)) Keep the good videos coming!

Everyone was fine. A lot of low air time pilots but a few seasoned! Great learning as you say. We review each week at our school for the do's and don'ts.
