Develop time management and you wont have that problem. Your the type of guy that will always work the 9 to 5 and be the employee instead of the employer and feel you can judge the guy at the top. He is totally right, I didn't know anything about marketing and was hired by a loan officer because I was tenacious and signed him up on some social sites and engaged people in conversation and created content and it went viral from there. Now I am working for a Corporation doing the same thing!
