Gazetyping on large projected displays

There is a need for a communication system that severely paralyzed people can use from bed. We mounted a web cam on the arm of an office lamp, projected a display on the wall and achieved an accurate gaze control with our tracking software. This video shows how we can type by looking at the characters. The typing systems are quite tolerant for noise on the input, so they may be used by some people with poor gaze control also.
