The National Fluid Power Association Fluid Power Challenge is a skills competition that challenges eighth graders to solve an engineering problem using fluid power. Working in teams, they design and build a fluid power mechanism, and then compete against other teams in a timed competition. It actively engages students in learning about hydraulics and pneumatics and creates a learning environment where math and science are fun. This video shows one of the teams that participated in the Challenge hosted by the Milwaukee School of Engineering on December 13, 2010.
