Weekend in Moscow (unofficial art)

Antic opening of a humorous, ironic first-person travel diary about American art aficionados touring Moscow during the last days of the Soviet Union; with visits to the studios of an underground community of talented, courageous and often wacky "unofficial," conceptual artists. And it's a video about making a video. Starring international art curator David Ross, collectors the Rubells, unofficial art critic Josef Bakshtein and artists Rosemary Trokel, Dmitri Prigov, Sergei Anufriev and Collective Action.
