Anette sings this beautifully. She really made it her own. Her head voice is just so so gorgeous. She needs to use it more often!

The most epic Nightwish song. I've been in love with it since 2005.With Tarja for sure. But now I'm stuck with Anette's voice singing it. Great interpretation.

@arsenicrain Tuomas doesnt like to talk about what the lyrics actually mean, we can only guess. But I think u can see "redeem me into childhood" as that he wants to go back to childhood: that part of having no worries, being careless and innocent. The word "redeem" is something like bringing salvation. Tuomas is a very deep complex writer... Notice the beginning: "IF u be the one to cut me, I'll bleed forever" and the ending: "u were the one to cut me, so.." Every sentence is genuinely deep.

I really love her voice until 02:50! Very beautiful, I wish she sang more like this. From there on her voice sounds ok, nothing special...with some obviously false notes :/ and around 08:00 "redeem me FROM the shildhood"? Hahaha sweet mistake.
