  • John Foxx -- He was good. Metamatic is a great album. His synthesis technique was far superior to his primary competitor, Gary Numan, but Numan had catchier tunes.

  • The Black Death, the Bubonic Plague... The plague pits they speak of were mass graves where the victims of the plague where thrown in an attempt to bury all the corpses. Specifically it is probably in reference to the Great Plague of around 1665.

  • what is he referring to as the "plague pits"? does anyone know the history

  • John Foxx and Louis Gordon have a relatively recent album; Crash and Burn. I love how they have evolved darkwave synth and it's among my favorite albums at this point. Most notably, Broken Furniture and Drive are songs that make me feel like I'm living in what would have been the future 80's.
