Carrara physics using walls made of blocks in zero gravity, then dropping blocks into pipe(from the side to make it look like a vacuum effect) using gravity and invisible object.

  • This is a great use of Carrara Physics! I especially liked the the way all the blocks were sucked into the funnel. You showed a great amount of control. I'm just getting into the Physics part of Carrara myself. Plan on any tutorials? STELLAR JOB!

  • Hi eyeofsolomon. Thanks for comments on both videos to date. :) Agree the camera does need better ease in/out for animation in this video. I may do tutorials when I get more advanced, but still need to test some other methods for physics that might work better. I am currently testing domino objects phsyics and will post a video when its done. Carrara still has some issues with flat resting contact physics.

  • Nice! I like the way it's like in space and the blocks just float away :)

  • After watching it for the 5th time, my only comment would be the camera work. I felt the pov's added some nice drama to the animation but the camera motion needed smoothing. The stops were to hard. A motion path or Bezier curve for the interpolation would give the Camera really smooth motion.
