SpeechTrans has its limits. Sometimes the translation will have mistakes, and may be hard to understand, but if spoken clearly in origninating language you can get the point across. If a translation fails, there is a way to turn off auto translation and correct words by typing them in. SpeechTrans does not recognize heavy accents in the originating language. so you just speak like a robot into the phone while the other person is wondering why your aiming your phone at them i think this application would only work if the other person is patient enough to wait until you understood what they said and can respond

hmm, not bad.....except for the american replies "nice to meet you too" after the app told him "mucho gusto" meant "gladly" in english, that part was already scripted.
