That third example, stream to one side, does do it for me - nice recording.

The ears here are pretty well developed, and so increase the accuracy.

Darn! My left earphone is not working!!!! I guess I'll need to buy some more stereo headphones, lol. Also I'm still a student to audio engineering and I'm thinking of buying some Binaural mics that look like earbuds to record some ambient sounds. Does anyone know if they literally go in your ears or if you need the "dummy head?" Thanks in advance!

am afraid your mic placement is wrong. hence the phase cancelling and frequency lose and gain due to helix, antihelix, concha, triangular fossa and other part of pinna and acoustic meatus are missing. HRTF rule does require a dummy head , but a torso also otherwise the actual effet of 3d doesnt come it will feel like a bad A B miking technique ..
