KXII's First News at 6 p.m. on June 1, 2010, covered the opening of LOKI Weapons Systems, Inc., a firearms manufacturer that has set up shop in Coalgate, Oklahoma. The opening is the first success of an effort began six years ago by Senator Jay Paul Gumm and Rep. Paul Roan, who represent Coalgate in the Oklahoma Legislature. Reporter Josh Stevenson covers the ribbon cutting and follows local leaders to a firing range when several got a chance to test the manufacturer's weapons. Gumm said this is the first of what will be many firearms and fireams-related companies to Oklahoma.
