Tawi-Tawi - Land of baleleng and beauty

This is where the popularized song "Baleleng" originated. It is commonly called here as Lelleng.

The Badjaos traditionally sing it as they paddle their canoe upon the sea, with waves and winds as their glorious accompaniment. In the early mornings when the sea is calm, you can still hear them singing as they pass along the shore until now.
