From http://www.bsideblog.com. I was stuck behind a toddler on JetBlue for 5 hours, and he CRIED the whole time. This is just a sample of what I had to deal with. (And for those wondering, these parents were not even TRYING to mollify their child, which was half the frustration).

Thanks for the link CNN!!

I hate how people on airplanes get frustrated when there is a crying baby on a plane. Who cares. You were a baby once. A parent on an airplane cannot really do much to calm the baby that is useto being at home. And for everyone who says things like " omg I'd throw that Baby out the window". You guys are very ignorant nobody's. Babies have every right to be on a plane to. Parents are even more stressed when they can't do much for the baby. Imagine how the parent feels?!

You good sir are a pillar of self control. I would have snapped long before 5 HOURS of that bullshit. And no I don't mean snapped and yelled at the baby. I would go off on the neglectful parents for not taking care of their child that is obviously having a problem that needs attended to.

It is because of the pressure change. Babies ears are more sensitive to pressure change. It hurts. Thats why most of them cry on an airplane.

Oh my word! There always seems to be a screeching baby on every flight I go on. They go on and on and on and it doesn't seem like the parents do anything about it. It was particularly stressful to me already being a very nervous flyer. I vowed that I wanted to save everyone the headaches and frustation so unless it is a dire need or no other way around it, I will not fly with my son until he is much much older.

This is really bad but when I see a screaming, crying baby I just want to strangle him/her. Just sh-sh-sh-sh... Let it happen. LOL.

To all the parents: Crying is the way that babies signal they need something. Hunger, Needing to be held, boredom, tiredness, thirsty, wet or dirty diapers, too hot or cold and illness. They are not just crying for nothing.

Dude, I feel so bad for you. I have flown from Orlando to Detroit with a wining baby right behind me kicking my seat. Sometimes, I just want to throw them out the window. And the parents dont do anything about it! Hope this does not happen to me on my flight from Detroit to Los Angeles
