Didn't Reagan/Bush sell Saddam chemical & biological weapons in the 80's? They wanted to make sure Saddam gassed as many Iranians as possible to pay back the Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini for evicting the despised Shah Reza Pahlavi & initiating an anti-western revolution in Iran. The US Dept of Commerce licensed 70 biological exports to Iraq between '85 & '89, including at least 21 batches of lethal strains of anthrax.
