This is the first trailer for the new game called Marvel Universe Online for the Xbox 360 and PC. A massively-multiplayer game (exclusive on consoles for Xbox 360 in addition to the PC edition) based on the tremendously successful comic book superheroes and villains created by Marvel.

this game has no chance from simple reason: marvel universe have hundreds characters but i'm sure everyone want play as spiderman ,ghost rider ,blade,iron man wolverine , punisher hulk or cap america ,not as forgotten power boy or one of the others suck azz heros

I don't know if this is cancelled or not, but the same creators are making a kiddish mmo, called super hero squad online

is it to much to ask for a good superhero game for the 360 so we can make our own super hero story and villain i can do without the last one and yes i know bout co but cant pay for it

Confirmation of the project's cancellation arrived Shane Kim, the head of Microsoft Games Studios, stated in an interview that the cancellation was primarily due to the competitive market for subscription-based MMOs, and that while one current MMO was successful, "everything else wouldnt meet our level or definition of commercial success"

Game Informer reported that an anonymous source revealed to them that Microsoft and Marvel had disagreements regarding the licensing of Marvel characters
