  • Barends!!! People always look at my bike funny at the trails. Ive had barends as long as i can remember, got it from my dad i guess, since he always had em. Tried riding without and I just felt naked and unconfortable lol. Whats your technique for climbing like that?

  • @xOVERLOADEDx Ha yea agree on the barends. IMO they give you a bigger traction sweet spot (between wheelie and wheel spin) and more leverage. Technical climbing in order of importance IMHO: 1. Fitness 2. Fitness 3. Fitness 4. Finesse (a good feel for momentum, traction and balance) 5. Line

  • Are the bar ends part of the handle bar or bar ends, lol?

  • @Zahn integrated Scott LF-AT2... totally vintage :)

  • Yea, new bike but IMO those are the best handlebars ever made and there will always be a pair on my mountain bike (and I have a stockpile in my garage just in case :) ). Function over fashion for me in this case...

  • @chronodriver Oh, I added bar ends because of your video and you showing how it increases climbing performance and control. Thanks!

  • Nice climb bro. I would have been pooped half way in.
